The right mug matters more than it should — the weight, the handle, how it keeps the heat. Here are 12 worth buying, from a chunky stoneware everyday mug to an insulated travel one, each linked to a well-reviewed pick.
My top pick: A chunky stoneware mug with a full-finger handle and a 350–400ml capacity is the one to own — it holds a proper amount, the thick walls keep coffee hot, and a reactive glaze means no two are quite alike.
